Luang Prabang

We took a mini van from Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang (5h-100,000KIP). The road is amazing, as it is surrounded by beautiful mountains full of oat plants.

Afin de nous rendre à notre dernière destination au Laos : Luang Prabang, nous avons pris un mini van depuis Vang Vieng (5h-100,000KIP). La route est magnifique : Montagne verdoyantes et champs d’avoines.

Luang Prabang used to be the capital of Laos and is therefore one of the biggest city in Laos. It’s also very well know for it’s temples which are actually everywhere in the city.

Luang Prabang est l’ancienne capitale du Laos et fait donc partie des grandes villes du pays. La ville est connue pour ses nombreux temples et musées.

The city is pretty romantique with all these old colonial houses by the Mekong and very charming temples. They have at night a local market in the city center which is so beautiful, it’s full of different colors and you can find the best/cheaper souvenirs.

Nous avons trouvé la ville très mignonne et romantique avec ses petites ruelles ainsi que ses nombreuses maisons coloniales donnant sur le Mékong. Le marché de nuit se trouvant au centre ville est également très sympa. Vous pourrez y acheter de nombreux souvenirs artisanaux.

Luang Prabang is the city where you can relax for a few days and just visit with your own time, anything but no stress. We also used our time there to do our visa for Vietnam which took only one day and was really easy to have ($70/person).

En résumé, nous avons trouvés Luang Prabang très relaxant. Nous en avons également profité pour faire notre visa du Vietnam qui fut très rapidement et facilement livré (1 jour - $70/personne).
